To include css like
         { !! Html::style(‘css/style.css’) !! }

To include Js like
         { !! Html::script(‘js/jquery.js’) !! }

 9. Then update the composer via D:\xampp\htdocs\projects > composer update.

10. You can create a table via migration file. To create migration file via
        D:\xampp\htdocs\projects >php artisan make:migration table_name

11. After creating migration file that resides in database/migrations.
       To create table

       Schema::create('users', function (Blueprint $table) {
        $table->increments('id');
        $table->string('full_name', 100);
        $table->string('username', 100);
        $table->string('password', 100);
        $table->timestamps();
      });

12. Before creating table you must change the database name, username, password in .env file.

Laravel Framwork

Laravel Framwork:

 Laravel PHP Framework is built with the focus of writing code syntax that is simple and expressive. This will provide the advantage of having a Web Application that is developer friendly and code that is maintainable.

Taylor Otwell created Laravel as an attempt to provide a more advanced alternative to the CodeIgniter framework, which did not provide certain features such as built-in support for user authentication and authorization.

It has been built with a focus of being superior over the other PHP frameworks, with better code foundation, maintainability and more robust features.

 When it comes to code reliability and maintainability, Laravel has a good foundation and great community support behind its PHP Framework.

"Don't limit a child to your own learning,

(1861-1941)

Rabindranath Tagore*Rabindranath Tagore

Born: 7 May 1861 Calcutta, Bengal Presidency, British India
Died: 7 August 1941 (aged 80) Calcutta, Bengal Presidency, British India

An Indian Bengali polymath. He came from a wealthy family of intellects and creative people. He was a popular poet, novelist, musician, painter and playwright who reshaped Bengali literature and music in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. As the first Asian to win the Nobel Prize in Literature, Tagore was perhaps the most widely regarded Indian literary figure of all time. He was a mesmerizing representative of the Indian culture whose influence and popularity internationally perhaps could only be compared to that of Gandhi, whom Tagore named 'Mahatma' out of his deep admiration for him.

"Man has responsibility,
not power."

~ Native American Proverb

roverb; (from Latin: proverbium) is a simple and concrete saying popularly known and repeated, which expresses a truth, based on common sense or the practical experience of humanity. They are often metaphorical. A proverb that describes a basic rule of conduct may also be known as a maxim. If a proverb is distinguished by particularly good phrasing, it may be known as an aphorism.

Proverbs are often borrowed from similar languages and cultures, and sometimes come down to the present through more than one language. Both the Bible (Book of Proverbs) and medieval Latin have played a considerable role in distributing proverbs across Europe, although almost every culture has examples of its own. *Source

Interview OK but not selected

Not getting selected there may be some reasons. The reasons may be,
  *Poor communications skills,
  *Lack of adequate knowledge required for the position in that company,
  *Changing jobs too frequently,
  *Criticising previous employers,
  *Not able to produce genuine documents as required by the HE Department of the present company conducting the interview

    The main reason can be ‘not suitable’ or ‘insufficient experience’ is noticed during CV scrutiny stage and the candidates may not be sent an interview call.
For a professional facing interview rejection is tough as he/she usually expects a positive outcome from an interview.
Interview rejection is often a hard fact of life. Most of us have faced it at some point in our lives. Facing it is an ordeal as we are usually hopeful after an interview and then the dreaded NO disappoints us. But this is not entirely a lost cause. Everything is fine and not falling under the above mentioned category then there can be a problem at the employer’s end. Therefore interview rejection can in fact be a good inspiration for you to succeed in life and get a better job than the rejected ones.
Facing rejection often helps you to rework on your interview skills and make improvements as a professional. The candidate must know and be convinced that he / she is not the only applicant particularly if it is the preliminary round. That will help the candidate to be less worried about the outcome of an interview.

        Here are a few things to keep in mind when the hour comes. Never doubt about yourself.
Taking rejection in one’s stride is not everybody’s cup of tea. However, this is the single most distinguishing factor between the go-getters and the losers. To get disheartened after rejection is indeed natural. But what is important is to move on. The essential technique is never doubt yourself. Re-evaluate your strengths and weakness and take this failure as a stepping up towards future success. Always remember your skills are your assets and a rejection from an employer cannot dismiss them.
  Recognize your weakness from the performance during the interview. You need to confront the rejection and own it. Once you recognize your weaknesses and shortcomings you will then be able to positively address any gaps or weak points in your knowledge experience, skills and techniques.
Although it is easier said than done, you need to deal with rejection and move on as quickly as possible. Give yourself a day. Once you’ve calmed down and regained your confidence, it is then time to look back and improve.
Always take the opportunity to gather feedback and gauge whether there are areas that you can improve upon. Learn from the mistakes, correct them and look forward. If you know you were nervous and may not have answered questions, well, then you know you can work on it in the future.
Accept that it may not have been anything personal. You may not have as much experience as another candidate or you may not have the requisite qualifications. On the other hand you could also have been too highly qualified and the interviewer felt   that you wouldn’t have stayed in the job for long. Remember, failure is a necessary step on the path to success.
Take rejections as an opportunity. Always remember the job you missed is not the last job on Earth. With so many fields and job profiles making themselves available every year, job opportunities are waiting in the wings. You just need to be on the lookout for newer ways or jobs in life.

   Find a creative way of releasing your frustration. Go to the gym or engage in a hobby like painting or dancing to dissolve the frustration of a rejection. Not only will you feel better you might also come up with newer ideas of self-expression.
Move on with optimism and do not brood and get stuck with the rejection, discuss it with family friends or whoever you are comfortable with. Vent   out your feelings. Look ahead with a positive attitude and be self-confident. Do not leave rejection just like that, it’s part of job search. Keep looking out for new opportunities and never give up. If you feel depressed for a long time, then take professional help. Successful job hunters use rejection as a tool to push further and drive them towards success, so look ahead with optimism. In the next interview learning from the previous job rejection perform well and avoid disappointment.

Voice of Love

A 'Take Diversion' signboard cannot stop the journey. When you look beyond, ends become bends. Potholes and speed breakers can slow down the journey, but do not have the power to stop the journey. The bullet that has left the gun must now hit the target. It cannot return to the gun. Journey begun must be journey completed. Project taken must be project accomplished. Purpose identified must be purpose served. Failure isn't an option. Retreat isn't a possibility. Keep going. Keep on going.

   The world can stop you only temporarily. The only one who can stop you permanently is yourself. Stop not. Temporary setbacks should never alter permanent focus. You may trip. You may even fall. But, you will not stay fallen. Let life put you down seven times. You will, and you must rise eight times. Getting up one more time is what resilience is all about. Keep going. Keep on going.
    You are just one evening away from greatness. You may not know which evening, but your time will come. All those who laughed at you will look up to you one day. All those who didn't accept you will admire you one day. Don't be bothered about what the world thinks of you. It is not their opinion that counts. It is your opinion of yourself that really counts. In the end, what really matters is what you think of yourself. Even if nobody believes in you, if you believe in yourself, then the destination is yours. Keep going. Keep on going.

  Every failure, every setback, every defeat are mere temporary finishing lines. Life holds her bounties beyond the imaginary finishing line. For a resolute soul, there are no finishing lines. Go beyond the finishing line. Need be paths may be changed, processes will be altered, but not the goal. If you must detour, you will. But you will not give up. You will not give in. A place for you, out there at the top, is already reserved with your name written on it. No mortal forces, self-created or inherited from outside, is going to stop you from reaching there. Persist. Persevere. Prod on. Push yourself. Pull yourself. Keep going. Keep on going.

   It is not the end till you accept it to be the end. Do not let others to define the end. You define the end. You will define the end on your terms. It is over only when you believe it is over. Even if life hands you over a period (.), you make a comma (,) out of it and continue the script. The question isn't, “Will you reach?” The question is only, “By when will you reach?” Sooner or later is the only question. Keep going. Keep on going.
Let the script of your life be titled, “Here is a man, whom, even God never tried to stop.”
Be unstoppable. Keep going. Keep on going.

Kalam launches language translation software

   A system that facilitates translation of languages on the internet was launched by former President APJ   Abdul Kalam.

The Machine translation (MT) system developed by 17 institutions including the International Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) was released at the 20th International World Wide Web conference.

According to Rajeev Sangal, Director, IIIT Hyderabad, the MT System was based on the computational paninian grammar (CPG), which works very well for free word order languages, and Indian languages in particular.

He said the tools are available in three modules - Sampark (Indian to Indian), AnglaMT (English to Bengali, Malayalam, Punjabi and Urdu) and Anvadaksh (English to Hindi, Bengali, Marathi, Oriya, Urdu and Tamil)

" India has more than 122 languages of which 22 are designated as official languages. More than a Billion people worldwide speak the following Indian languages - Hindi, Bengali, Telugu, Marathi, Tamil and Urdu. With the availability of e-content and development of language technology, it has become possible to overcome the language barrier," Sangal told after the system was formally launched.

He said three consortia comprising 17 academic and research institutions were involved in building 26 different pairs of languages.

"Right now, 12 pairs are available and the plan is to release more pairs every three-four months," he said.

"Rs 13 Crore went into the whole exercise and about 200 students were directly involved in the development of these tools. An additional 200 students worked on the project as a thesis and their algorithms were embedded into the systems directly," Sangal said.

Chess and Math? Improving Math Performance 1 Move at A Time

      The basic skills need to function in the workplace today are decision making, problem solving, critical thinking and deductive and inductive reasoning along with the ability to make judgements and good estimates. We haven't loved math but we've certainly loved our games. That's when Chess comes into the picture.

    Chess is a game that requires problem solving. Math requires problem solving, it makes good sense then to become a good problem solver means you'll do better in math. Chess (and other games) require a mental workout, thinking ahead, planning, being systematic, and determining the outcomes of certain moves.

   Chess moves can't be memorized, weakness in math often stems from an over emphasis on memory skills instead of thinking skills. Research studies have indicated that students playing chess have improved problem solving skills over the group that have not been involved in the playing of chess. Ollie LaFreniere, the Washington Chess Federation's statewide Coordinator for Scholastic Chess, said in a Seattle Post-Intelligencer interview on May 31, "Chess is the single most powerful educational tool we have at the moment, and many school administrators are realizing that." There are also studies that indicate that many students' social habits improved when playing chess.

    The late Faneuil Adams (president of the American Chess Foundation (ACF). believed that chess could enhance learning, especially for the disadvantaged. He with the ACF founded the Chess in Schools Program which initially began in New York's Harlem School district. Early in the program, the focus was on improving math skills for adolescents through improved critical thinking and problem solving skills. Remarkably "test scores improved by 17.3% for students regularly engaged in chess classes, compared with only 4.56% for children participating in other forms of enriched activities."
The ACF reports that chess improves a Child's:

  • Visual memory
  • Attention span
  • Spatial reasoning skills
  • Capacity to predict and anticipate consequences
  • Ability to use criteria to drive decision making and evaluate alternatives

Motivation For Students

  Students need motivations s much as a working person or any typical adult. Students face pressures in terms of studies and education often enough. Students need regular motivation to be high on morale and to have good, all-rounded performances. Students have their own stresses and to deal with those student-related stresses or issues, the best tool would definitely be Motivation. Motivation in general, acts as a booster- A booster of Morale, A booster of performance, A booster of sharpening skills and A booster in the whole sense of the word as well.

   Motivation methods for students are plenty. To suggest one of the most effective methods of motivating students, it is that of having a motivation workshop/session in the school. When a school holds an event that has motivational speakers address the students and have workshops or sessions that inculcate motivation in students of the school, it is benefitial. It helps the students get encourages and increases their morale in ways that are hugely effective. The session or workshop must involve personalized elements of motivation as well; wherein each student is communicated to individually at some part of the motivation session/workshop. This will bring about a equitable motivation to each student, making him or her feel personally motivated as well as a participant in an over-all –group motivation programme. This is good in two ways: One, because the student feels like he/she is  with  his/her class (grade) and is expereicning a training or learning together with his/her fellow-class-mates and the other is the motivation that the student undergoes individually and feels special because of the time allotted to motivate each student separately in that session.

Besides this traditional and responsive method of motivation to students, there are other methods of regular updating on motivation for students. Online websites are a great source of information, and so it is no surprise that a person’s kitty of knowledge can be increased by information on websites. For a parent, going online to websites such as this will provide a platform for knowledge to inculcate in their kid/kids. Moreover, books can be a wonderful source of motivation to children. Even non-motivation books, like books of Enid Blyton, the most successful children’s book writer of all times are a good energy inducer to children, as the books of Enid Bltyon are a greatly creative read and help in developing a child’s mind and imagination as well

The Story I will never forget

                  This is a story I would never ever forget in life...It's difficult to recollect when I heard this one, but I clearly remember each & every word told to me in this story by my Dad...

This happened when I got a new pair of jeans. It was around  Rs.1900 . I showed it to everyone at home, that time my dad asked me its cost. I replied saying, "it's just Rs. 1900/-", to which he said , "Just 1900??? Let me tell you a story" and then he started with it.

         He continued with, “When I was in school, we had an option to wear either full pants or shorts after 6th standard, but I never got one till 8th. One fine day I was very angry after I realized that almost everyone in my class wears a full pant. So that day I went to my dad’s (my grandfather’s) shop and demanded that even I want trousers for my school. He told me that he would get it for me next year, but I did not agree. Then he told me he would get it to me in Diwali but again I was adamant.

         Finally after losing all hopes he gave in to my demand and agreed to buy new trousers for me. After his work hours, we went to some of my dad’s client’s office where he told me to wait outside and went in to have a word with him. I was very curious to know what he was talking and so I tried to listen. I could hear him saying these words ‘Mohan’ please lend me 100 rupees. My son is demanding for trousers for his school uniform and I want to buy him one today. I would return it to you soon. The client gave him the amount saying Sir you don’t have to ask me, you can demand me anytime’
So then my dad came out and told me ’Let’s go and buy trousers for you’. However, after hearing those words, I gave up my demand. I couldn’t see my dad asking for money just to fulfill a small wish. So I just told him that I don’t want it now, will buy it in Diwali. To this my dad was amazed. He surprisingly told me ‘Just now you were so stubborn about it and now what happened? But I was like now I don’t want it, will buy one in Diwali.

        That very day I decided that I would earn a lot of money and keep him happy, and from that day itself I worked towards my goal. Today you can buy jeans worth only 1900 bucks coz of that. It’s not that I have any objection with you buying expensive things but have one such goal in life so that your children would be able buy jeans worth only 10000 bucks. And by the way, that’s a nice jeans’ saying so he ended the story.
         Those words touched me a lot and I was moved. That day onwards I admire both my grandfather as well as my dad more than I did before. And even I made up my mind to be successful in whatever I do.
 And btw I still wear that jeans ;
